Walid ibn al-Mughirah al-Makhzumi ((アラビア語:الوليد بن المغيرة المخزومي), ''al-Walīd ibn al-Mughīrah al-Makhzūmī'') was the chief of the Banu Makhzum clan of the Quraysh tribe. His clan was responsible for warfare related matters. ==Family== He was the son of al-Mughīrah ibn ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Umar ibn Makhzūm. Sons: #Khālid ibn al-Walīd. His mother was Walid's wife, Lubābah as-Sughrá, that is, al-Asmā bint al-Ḥārith ibn al-Ḥazn.
